노보 노디스크, 유럽서 경구용 위고비 승인…릴리보다 한발 앞서
유럽연합 집행위원회(EC)가 노보 노디스크의 경구용 비만 치료제 위고비(Wegovy) 알약에 대해 판매 허가를 승인했다. 이번 승인 대상은 비만 또는 과체중 환자다. 경쟁사인 일라이 릴리는 자사의 경구용 GLP-1 약물 파운다요(Foundayo)에 대한 유럽 승인을 아직 기다리고 있는 상황이다. 이에 따라 노보 노디스크가 경구용 GLP-1 비만약 시장에서 릴리보다 먼저 유럽 시장에 진입하게 됐다.
