대화제약이 만성심부전 제네릭 'DHP2835'의 임상 1상 이후 추가 시험과 후속 개발을 진행하지 않기로 했다. DHP2835는 사쿠비트릴과 발사르탄을 결합한 제네릭으로 2024년 연구가 시작됐다. 반면 경구 GLP-1 분야에서는 기존 당뇨·비만 관련 과제에 별도의 비만 개량신약 개발을 추가했다. 이는 대화제약의 R&D 무게중심이 심부전에서 비만치료제 쪽으로 이동하고 있음을 보여준다.
