엔베다, 운동 기전 모사한 경구용 후보물질 'ENV-308' 임상 1상 완료
미국 콜로라도 소재 바이오기업 엔베다가 운동의 식욕 억제 효과를 모사한 경구용 신약 후보물질 'ENV-308'의 임상 1상을 완료했다. 건강한 성인 88명을 대상으로 진행된 이번 시험에서 전 용량 범위에 걸쳐 심각한 이상반응이나 투약 중단 사례는 보고되지 않았다. 회사 측은 예비 안전성과 내약성을 확인했다고 밝혔다. 이번 개발은 비만 치료제 중단 후 발생하는 체중 재증가 현상을 제어하기 위한 목적으로 진행됐다.
