국내 바이오기업, LG '엑사원' AI로 정밀진단·신약개발 확산
국내 바이오기업들이 LG AI연구원의 초거대 AI '엑사원(EXAONE)'을 정밀진단과 신약개발에 활용하고 있다. 암 유전자 변이 예측부터 비만치료제 설계까지 적용 범위가 확대되면서 관련 사업화 움직임도 나타나고 있다. LG AI연구원은 최근 미국암연구학회(AACR)에서 밴더빌트대 메디컬센터와 공동 개발한 암 에이전틱 AI 연구를 공개했다. 이 기술은 조직 병리 이미지 한 장으로 암 유전자 활성도를 예측하고 분석·검증을 거쳐 치료 전략을 제시하는 방식이다.
